Iran, Palestine condemn Israeli aggression against military points in Syria’s central region
The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned yesterday’s the criminal Zionist aggression on Syria, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
The ministry’s spokesman Nasser Kanaani said during his weekly press conference on Monday : “Israel’s crimes are not limited to Palestine, and the continued acts of aggression by the Zionist entity on Syria, Gaza and Lebanon, are part of its crazy policies of expanding the war in the region.”
Kanaani denied what was reported in the Zionist media about targeting Iranian headquarters in Syria, stressing that it is time for the supporters of this entity to stop arming it.
In turn, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad PIJ Movement condemned the Israeli aggression on several areas around Syria’s Misyaf, which left dozens of martyrs and wounded, including critical cases.
It noted that this aggression is a war crime that is added to the war crimes committed by the criminal enemy in Gaza Strip, the West Bank and southern Lebanon.
“We strongly condemn the criminal Zionist aggression on the Syrian Arab Republic and its brotherly people, which led to the fall of a large number of martyrs and wounded,” The PIJ said in a statement on Monday.
The statement added “This blatant aggression confirms that the Zionist entity is an enemy of all the peoples of the region, and seeks to impose its hegemony through killing, crimes and terrorizing, which requires confronting it with all capabilities.”
The Movement indicated that international silence on the enemy’s crimes inside Palestine supported by the US administration, which is a partner in the aggression, encourages the Israeli entity to continue the aggression without deterrence.
It affirmed its solidarity with Syria, its leadership and people, in light of the blatant aggression it is being subjected to, expressing its wishes for speedy recovery for the wounded and mercy for the martyrs.
