Iran: Massive demonstrations commemorate Islamic Revolution anniversary

Massive demonstrations took to the streets of Tehran and other Iranian cities marking the 41st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran with the participation of senior officials. The participants raised the flags of the states of the axis of resistance: Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine. They also raised photos for martyr Qassem Suleimani and shouted slogans denouncing the aggressive policies of the US and the Zionist entity.

During his participation, Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif said that over the past forty one years, the Americans had always been wrong in evaluating the Iranian revolution, and this united the Iranians against them.

In turn, the Deputy General Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Admiral Ali Fadawi said that the participation of millions of Iranians in the anniversary testifies to Iran’s strength and ability to deter any aggression launched against it.

Iranian Minister of Security Sayyed Mahmoud Alawi affirmed Iran’s rejection of the ill-famed deal of the century which aims at liquidating the Palestinian question.
