Iran is able to consolidate its presence in the region, says Salami

TEHRAN, (ST) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hossein Salami, said that his country was able to consolidate its presence in the region and strengthen its defense force.  “Today Iran is strong in all fields”, he added.

Salami added in a speech today that we have overcome most of the enemy’s threats so far, but there is still a way ahead of us in this field. “We are not worried, as the war continues against us in its military, political, cultural and technical dimensions,” he said

Salami stressed that all the sanctions, pressures and conspiracies could not keep the Iranian people away from the goals of the Islamic Revolution.
