Iran has produced 25 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium

Tehran (ST):  The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Behrouz Kamalvandi, announced today that his country has produced 25 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium.

 

Kamalvandi said in statements carried by local media that Iran’s reserves of 20 percent enriched uranium exceeded 210 kilograms, and it produced 25 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium.

Kamalvandi stressed that his country has advanced a lot in the nuclear field, especially in the technical framework, and has made achievements outside the energy sector, especially in the production of radiopharmaceuticals and the laser technology sector, and has entered the global competition club.
