Iran denounces the US veto against a draft resolution on Gaza at the Security Council

Tehran, (ST)- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday denounced the American veto of a draft resolution at the Security Council. He called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza Strip.

He stressed that the United States is the cause of the crimes of genocide in the Strip.

Raisi on Wednesday said suring the Iranian government meeting: “America, without doubt, is the center of all evil in the world, the main source of it and the cause of crimes and genocide in Gaza”.

“U.S. is the one that is responsible for the continuation of these crimes and the whole world must condemn these actions”, Raisi added.

The United States yesterday, used its veto against a draft resolution presented by Algeria calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
