Iran Criticizes US for Exporting Weapons to Region

Tehran – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman criticized the US and certain countries for export of weapons to the region.

‘The US and other producers and exporters of lethal weapons cannot export hundreds of billion dollars of destructive weapons to this sensitive region and simultaneously, judge Iran’s defense capability,’ Bahram Qasemi said on Saturday.

He said that Iran’s military and missile power is for the deterrence power, noting that the country’s power is important to the region’s stability and security.

The official described the recent anti-Iranian propaganda as part of Iranophobia scenario, noting that the Islamic Republic will give ‘decisive response’ to any unwise move.
