Iran condemns Western support for the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people

Tehran, (ST) –  Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian condemned Western support for the crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people during its aggression against Gaza Strip.

Abdullahian said during a phone call he received yesterday from his British counterpart David Cameron: The reason for what is happening currently is not due to the events of last October 7, but rather to 75 years of occupation by the Zionist entity and its continuous attacks on the basic rights of the Palestinian people and committing war crimes in Palestine and genocide against this oppressed people, stressing that Britain’s role is clear in these issues.

The Iranian Foreign Minister hoped that London would take a fact-based position regarding regional developments and bilateral relations, in a way that would contribute to improving the atmosphere that prevails in these relations. He denounced the double standards of the United States and some Western countries.

Abdullahian pointed out that the occupying entity should not be allowed to commit massacres against women and children and crimes of ethnic cleansing against the people of Gaza.

He referred that the response to any adventure or aggression by the Israeli entity against Iran will be strong and cause remorse.
