Iran calls on UN rapporteur on Extrajudicial Executions to avoid double standards concerning Zionist entity’s crimes

Tehran(ST)-Iran called on the UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, Maurice Tidball-Baines, to avoid double standards and bias regarding the crimes of the Zionist entity.

In a letter addressed last night to the UN rapporteur, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, called for taking an active approach in documenting the crimes of the Zionist entity, holding the entity accountable for violating human rights and joining the voice of the international community in confronting the crimes of the entity.

It is noteworthy that the UN rapporteur has remained silent regarding the crimes of the Zionist entity in killing innocent people in Gaza and Lebanon in recent months, as well as regarding the crimes of this entity in assassinating freedom fighting leaders such as the martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, and Yahya Sinwar.
