Iran calls on the United Nations to take urgent action to end the crimes of the ‘Zionist entity’ against the Palestinian people

On October 3rd, Iran’s representative to the United Nations Human Rights Council, Mohammad Sadati Nejad, called on the international organization to take urgent and decisive action to end the crimes of ‘the Zionist entity’ against the Palestinian people.

“The demand for justice and accountability for the crimes committed against the Palestinians must form part of the demands of the global community to end this catastrophe,” Sadati Nejad said in a speech during the 48th meeting of the Human Rights Council in Geneva on condemning the crimes of ‘the Zionist entity’.

He added: “The protectors of (Israel), including the United States, European allies and Canada, who support this entity financially, militarily and politically, must also shoulder the responsibility that they are  the perpetrators of these crimes  and they  prevent   justice from being carried out.”

He pointed to the escalation of the crimes of ‘the Zionist entity’ in the Palestinian territories, indicating that keeping Article 7 on the human rights situation in the occupied territories on the agenda of the meeting of the Human Rights Council is of great importance.
