Tehran, (ST) _Iran called on Gulf Cooperation Council GCC member states to take positions through correct understanding and accuracy of the reality, in remarks to the allegations made by these countries that no progress was achieved in Almaty round of negotiations .
Spokesman for the Iranian foreign ministry Ramin Mehmanparast rejected the accusations contained in a statement of the GCC foreign ministers meeting on Iran, describing it as unjustified meddling in Iran’s internal affairs, and a reflection that these countries are not familiar with the topic thoroughly.
He pointed out that raising groundless and empty allegations can not change reality, stressing that it is better for the countries of the region to adopt in its agenda positive and constructive attitudes toward Iran , in the interest of the peoples of the region instead of launching hollow accusations.
