Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and Iraqi counterpart Fouad Hussein discussed in a telephone conversation the steps taken within the framework of bilateral relations and the need to accelerate the implementation of all previously signed agreements.
Iranian media reported that the two ministers discussed, during the call, issues of common interest, including regional developments, the Vienna talks, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
The two sides stressed the need to focus on dialogue and a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Ukraine and the need to address its roots as a key to establishing peace and stability in the Eurasia region.
