Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein discussed the latest developments in relations between the two countries.
Fars news agency reported that the two sides stressed in a phone call yesterday the necessity of implementing the security agreement signed between the two countries, as well as strengthening Iranian gas transport lines to Iraq and regional cooperation.
In the call, Abdullahian expressed his gratitude for Iraq’s financial and bank transfers related to pilgrims from the credits of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and called for further strengthening of banking cooperation between the two sides.
