Iran: Air Defense dealt with potential targets at some points …Isfahan nuclear facilities are safe

The Iranian IRNA News Agency announced that the air defense system was activated in some points of Iran this morning to deal with some potential targets, stressing that the nuclear facilities in Isfahan are safe.

The agency explained that after activating the air defense system at some points to deal with some potential targets, reports from all over the country indicated that so far there have been no reports of casualties or large-scale explosions caused by air threats… Field investigations in the city of Isfahan also showed that the important facilities there, especially the nuclear ones, are completely safe, and no accidents have been reported there.

The military commander of the Iranian army in the city of Isfahan, Brigadier General Mehen Dost, said in a statement: “the relatively loud sound heard east of the city is related to the shooting of anti-aircraft missiles at suspicious objects, and we did not suffer any accidents or damage caused by this.”

The photos taken by citizens indicate the activation of defense systems in some parts of the country, which act as point defense systems against threats at very low altitudes, and their activity is completely normal and are at one hundred percent alert state.

Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company announced that all flights in the country, as well as some flights at Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airports, which were postponed or suspended this morning, have now been resumed.
