Investment forum kicked off in the old city of Aleppo

ALEPPO, Aug.4, (ST)- The investment forum, which is being held by Aleppo Governorate in cooperation with the Syrian Investment Agency, kicked off this evening in Khan Al-Harir Market in the old city of Aleppo, with the participation of the Ministers of Public Works, Housing, Economy, Foreign Trade, Industry and Tourism, in addition to the Governor of Aleppo.

The Director-General of the Syrian Investment Agency, Madian Diyab, was quoted on the Syrian aArab News Agency (SANA)  as saying that the forum will discusses the investment  in the governorate and the available investment opportunities in  industrial, commercial and tourism fields, and the current environment of investment in Syria.

He indicated that the forum will shed light on the Investment Law No. 18 for the year 2021, encourage investors, and present opportunities supported by the advantages and facilities of the Investment Law.

He in addition pointed out that the volume of investments in Syria reached about one trillion and 450 billion Syrian pounds.
