International Human Rights Commission Condemns Israeli Attacks on Syria

BEIRUT- International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has condemned the continued Israeli attacks on the Syrian territories, affirming that they constitute a blatant violation of the international conventions and the resolution no. 2131 for the year 1965, SANA reported.

In a statement issued by the office of its Middle East Commissioner Ambassador Haitham Abu Said, the IHRC reaffirmed that “The repetition of the aggression in this way will threaten the region and might lead to dire consequences.”

In a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday morning, Abu Said called upon Guterres to personally intervene and send a firm message to “Israel” to stop its continued aggressions on the Syrian territories.
