International Education Exhibition Opens in Damascus under the Slogan “Learn Today to Lead Tomorrow”

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Activities of the International Education Exhibition kicked off today in Damascus with the participation of 80 universities, institutes, education institutions and centers as well as representatives of several Arab and foreign universities.

The three-day exhibition, held under the slogan “learn Today to Lead Tomorrow”, includes different symposiums and lectures with the strategic goal of contributing to building future Syria.

 In a statement to reporters after the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Private Universities Affairs Boutros Mayyaleh stressed that the event is a civilized scientific manifestation aiming to shed light on the available specializations in the Syrian government and private universities and on the most remarkable research and projects carried out by the students of these universities.

“Syria’s students and teachers are part of the homeland’s strength and steadfastness and they back their army and leadership in the confrontation of terrorism,” the deputy minister said.

On his part, Nabil Marzouk, head of the Economic Group for Promoting International Investments,  the organizer of the event, said that the exhibition is one of the most important scientific, and educational events in Syria.
