DAMASCUS, (ST)- The International Conference on the Return of Syrian Refugees continued its second day activities on Thursday at the Umayyad Palace for Conference.
Bilateral meetings between representatives of foreign countries and international organizations are being held, focusing on the return of refugees.
A number of participants visited the Harjalleh makeshift housing center for the displaced in Damascus countryside, where representatives of the Russian Veterans League provided Humanitarian aid to residents.
Participants in the conference are to discuss several issues dealing with organizing special programs on anti-coronavirus measures and on up-to-date methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The participants also discussed cooperation between Syria and Russia in the domains of technology, communications, economy, trade and health.
The conference kicked off yesterday with an opening session and three plenary sessions in addition to several roundtable meetings, during which the conditions of the Syrian refugees, the obstacles facing their return and the current situation in Syria were discussed.
