International condemnations of the terrorist attack on the Military Academy in Homs

Capitals,(ST)- The Socialist Republic of Vietnam condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Military Academy’s graduation ceremony in the city of Homs.

In a letter of condolence to Dr. Faisal Al-Mikdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son expressed his country’s condolences to the families of the victims and those injured in this sinful attack.

The Communist Party of South Africa also condemned the terrorist attack in Homs.

The party said in a statement: The South African Communist Party joins the United Syrian Communist Party and the Syrian people in condemning the terrorist attack.

The party said that this attack is supported by international powers and imperialist regimes.

In its statement, the party also called for an immediate and unconditional end to the Israeli occupation of the Syrian Arab Golan.

In a related context, members of the Syrian Arab community in Spain condemned the terrorist attack in Homs. They expressed sincere condolences to and sympathy with  the families of the victims.

The Cuban-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Group in the National Assembly of Popular Power (Parliament) also condemned the terrorist attack and expressed the group’s solidarity with the people, the government and the People’s Assembly in Syria.

In turn, the Arab Union in Cuba condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack and offered its condolences to the families of the victims, expressing its full solidarity with the friendly Syrian people against these aggressive acts.

The Federation of Arab Communities and Institutions in Latin America (FEARAP) also strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Homs. It expressed its condolences to the Syrian people and government and to the families of the victims.
