International community’s silence in facing Zionist crimes “regretful”, says Iran Spox

Tehran – Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has described the silence of the international community in the face of crimes being committed by the Zionist regime as “regretful”.

Kanaani wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday: “These are examples of a set of targets by the Apartheid regime in recent attacks on the Gaza Strip. Silence of international community and those who claim that are defending human rights in facing the Zionists’ crimes in Gaza is deplorable and regretful, the spokesman underlined.”

Interestingly, the United States State Department has underscored their “full support” for the rights of Israel to defend themselves, Kanaani pointed out.

Alaa Abdullah Riyad Qaddoum, 5, residing in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, is one of children martyrs who has lost her life in current attacks by the Apartheid regime of Israel on Gaza, he went on to say.

Qaddoum was killed around 4:30 p.m. on August 5 by an Israeli airstrike in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also emphasized that it is a matter of regret that those who are fake human rights claimants back the occupying regime’s routine crimes against people of a country, which is under occupation, in the name of “rights for defending itself.”
