Interior Minister Stressed National Parties Role to Promote Culture of Dialogue, Renounce Violence

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ The committee in charge of  Parties Affairs, headed by  Minister of the Interior Gen Major Mohammed Shaar, who is also chairman of the committee continued yesterday  its regular meetings on the activities of the licensed parties and its political activities.
During the meeting  Minister Shaar  stressed the role of the Committee in  continuous evaluating and orienting  the work of parties in the light of the political parties law and its implementing regulations so as not to slip in intellectual and organizational errors that could affect the party’s principles. .

Minister Shaar also pointed  the need for the licensed national parties , under the current circumstances taking place in the country to actively participate in the promotion of the  culture of dialogue and participator approach  , renounce violence and expose the truth about the  incitements  of the armed terrorist groups , at  the support of regional  and Western  countries .

The Committee examined a number of issues relating to the affairs of political parties, reviewed several  regulatory subjects  and discussed the reports of some licensed  parties pertinent to its general  conferences.
