“Insan” Foundation launches a campaign to plant and rehabilitate 14 sites in Lattakia

LATTAKIA, Mar.22, (ST)-With the participation of more than 100 youths, the “Insan” Foundation has launched a campaign to plant and rehabilitate the median strip on “Gernata” Street in Lattakia.

This campaign is part of the foundation’s agricultural project, which aims to plant ornamental plants and roadside trees in residential neighborhoods in the city.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Scouts Foundation, the Engineers Association, a number of civil society organizations, and members of the local community, according to agricultural engineer Aya Attar, the project supervisor and coordinator from the “Insan” Foundation.

She clarified that the project includes 14 sites within Lattakia and aims to enhance environmental awareness and partnership among various segments of society.
