Damascus (ST): The Innovators for the Homeland Foundation honored a number of innovation pioneers for the year 2023 in the social, economic, scientific and intellectual fields, at the Hamra Theater in Damascus.
The event, which was held on the occasion of the third foundation anniversary of the establishment included creative musical, lyrical and poetic performances by a number of its staff.
Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Bahjat Akroush, stated that the honored persons are among those who have made important achievements for Syrian society and are contributing to the reconstruction phase, indicating that the Foundation’s objectives are to support creative people of all age groups to build their capabilities and continue with their scientific, cultural and artistic excellence.
In turn, the Director of Public Relations at the Foundation, Dr. Lina Yazbek, explained that the Foundation focuses its work on developing the creative talents of young people while linking them to the labor market through a number of training and empowerment courses in partnership with a number of concerned authorities.
For his part, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the “Souria Btijmana” Syria Brings Us Together Foundation Rami Al-Halabi underlined the importance of honoring innovators, especially those who left a positive impact on society during the terrorist war that Syria was subjected to and the economic siege that the country is facing.
