Injured Syrian soldiers are steadfast despite the wounds

Next month, there will be a national initiative for injured Syrian soldiers called ‘your wounds remedy the homeland’, Tourism Minister Besher al-Yazigi said.

The minister made it clear that the initiative will be launched by Tourism Ministry in cooperation with organizations interested in Syrian soldiers injured during the ongoing terror war being waged on the country.

“The ministry will offer tourist program for 1500 injured Syrian soldiers,” Yazigi asserted during the opening ceremony of an art exhibition held Monday in the ‘Dama Rose’ Hotel by an organization called ‘We are steadfast despite the wounds’

About 22 injured Syrian soldiers, who are members of the organization, took part in the exhibition, which in cluded oil paintings, wooden sculptures and hand-made works.

“They just want to give hope to people despite their wounds,” Chairman of the Board of the Directors of  the ‘Sa’ed’ organization [Help Organization] Isam Habbal told the official news agency (SANA).

The ‘We are steadfast despite the wounds’ organization, which takes care of persons injured in terror acts, is composed of group of injured soldiers and injured members of popular defense groups whose wounds prevented them from going ahead with their national duty in defending the homeland.
