Governorates, (ST) – The civil communities in the governorates work to rehabilitate more quarantine rooms and spread safety measures to tackle the Coronavirus.
In Homs, a number of civil communities in the governorate are providing all forms of health support and raising awareness to tackle the Corona epidemic.
Eng. Samar Al-Sibai, Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Homs said in a statement to SANA that the civil communities have a hospital prepared with isolation rooms for emergency cases in addition to a specialized medical cadre to follow up these cases.
In Sweida, the Baraem Childhood Care Association, in cooperation with a group of artists and media professionals, has made a video called “Stay home” that was published on “Facebook” to urging the people to stay at house.

In Daraa, the volunteers of the Syrian Red Crescent Organization work to raise awareness of measures to tackle the Corona virus and enhancing these measures through the various teams of the organization that aim to reach all people from all wakes of life.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Masalmeh, head of the organization’s branch in Daraa, said that the branch has delivered humanitarian aid to 24,300 families in the western and eastern Maliha, Dael, Tafas, and Yadodah and six communities around it and Sahwah, while preserving precautionary measures to tackle the virus.
