Initiative to Distribute Food Baskets in Hama and Deepen Social Solidarity

As part of the “Ramadan of Goodness and Victory” initiative, launched by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, the Khuzama Charitable Association in Hama distributed food baskets to registered families, as part of its efforts to ease the burdens on the most needy families during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ghada Khalouf, director of the association, said in a statement that the association distributed 125 food baskets today, this step comes in response to the difficult economic conditions facing many families.

She indicated that the association is working according to a specific action plan that includes distributing food meals, targeting additional families in the coming days.

“Ramadan of Goodness and Victory” initiative received significant support from local authorities and people of Hama as a manifestation of social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.
