Information Minister: What is Going in Hassaka, Aleppo Is Part of a Terrorist War Imposed on Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)- What is going in Hassaka, Aleppo and all Syrian areas is part of a terrorist war imposed on Syria, Information Minister Mohammad Ramez Turjman said in an interview with Souriana FM  on Tuesday.

He pointed out that some Syrian components are tools serving the implementation of the US project in the region.

“The Asayish, the military wing of the Kurdistan Workers Party PKK , is one of these tools, because what this group is doing is so dangerous that would bring more bloodshed and ordeals to a region that has enjoyed diverse social fiber throughout history,” the minister clarified.

He pointed out that the “Asayish” must reconsider their stance, because “it is difficult to divide Syria”, reiterating that “any political demands under the national accord and under the umbrella of the National Syrian state can be put for discussion.”

Turjman noted that the architects of the “New Middle East” project are betting on the continuity of the state of chaos in Syria. They don’t want any peaceful, political or military solutions in the country; rather they want chaos to prevail.

On the role played by the Syrian media within the ongoing crisis, Turjman said the Syrian media has managed to withstand the misleading media campaign against Syria by uncovering the lies and fabrications promoted in the media outlets of western and some Arab countries.
