Information Minister visits Iranian journalist injured while covering army operations

Damascus – Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi, accompanied by Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Mohammad Reza Shaibani, on Saturday visited Iranian journalist Mohammad Hassan Hosseini who was injured while covering army operations in Lattakia countryside.

Al-Zoubi said that the “resistant media” is working on all possible levels to relay the truth about what is happening in Syria to the public opinion and expose the lies spread by malicious media outlets, SANA reported.

The Minister also said that the Syrian and Iranian media stand as one in the face of the Israeli enemy and the Takfiri movement in the region.

In turn, Shebani said that the war on Syria and the region in general isn’t limited to military war; rather it’s also a cultural, media, economic, and political war as well.

For his part, Hosseini asserted his determination to continue working towards revealing the truth no matter the cost, adding that Syrian media and Syrian journalists have sacrificed much, and that their sacrifices inspire him.
