Information Minister: Ensuring Decent Living Conditions to Martyrs Families

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Information Minister Omran Zoubi  stressed that Syrian society gives  high respect to martyrs and martyrdom  and the  Syrian State  gives  the families of the martyrs and the wounded great attention and care in all areas, and  will spare no effort to secure them  appropriate  living conditions .

During his meeting yesterday with chairman and members of the  Syrian “Association in Loyalty for  the  martyrs and the wounded,” the minister pointed out the importance of the association  in terms of dealing with the issues of the martyrs , the wounded and their families  to ensure the foundations of a decent life for them , stressing that the ministry and its affiliated media institutions invest  all  means to highlight the activities of the and objectives of the association   so as to implement its social and humanitarian  program in the service of the families of the martyrs and the wounded.

President of the Association  Dr. Nabil Tohme  noted that the association  is working on the establishment of infrastructure and economic initiatives to continue humanitarian work  through enabling  the families of martyrs and wounded  to become real  producers in  light of government support for its activities and objectives.

He explained that the association  will work in the areas of education, health and production and in building  direct consumer institutions all over  Syria ,in  the framework of cooperation between the state and society.

He added that the association  will also claim the rights of Syrian citizens affected by the crisis from  all who sabotaged  the  Syrian citizen through a  team dedicated in  international law , beside its  work in the psychological rehabilitation of the affected citizens .

The meeting was attended by directors of the  TV and radio station, the Syrian Satellite Channel and Talaqi TV channel.
