Information Minister: al-Attiyah statements are more ridiculous than to be replied

DAMASCUS – Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi , commenting on statements of Qatari regime’s Foreign Minister Khaled bin Mohammad al-Attiyah, affirmed that “al-Attiyah statements are more ridiculous than to be replied ,” adding his statements reflect the absence of political logic and the lack of ability to follow up with the changes”, SANA reported.

“Qatar emirate is the origin… emirates of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Jabhat al-Nusra are branches of it,” the Minister said.

 He considered al-Attiyah statements as a kind of “political comedy”, particularly when he talks about the legitimacy of regimes and how it will be acquired or lost.

“Qatar is the first sponsor of terrorism in the region… it fears the failure of its endeavors to destroy Syria and divide it… it rejects to believe that this failure became a reality,” Minister al-Zoubi added.
