Industry Ministry  adopts a diversified manufacturing strategy to increase production capacities

The productive sector , including industrial and agricultural ones, is experiencing difficulties as a result of the negative repercussions of the war and the theft of major resources by the American and Turkish occupiers and their agents in the main production areas.

However, the government and its affiliated sides  are trying to achieve important steps towards compensation with productivity in which they invest the available material and human capabilities.

The Minister of Industry Eng.  Abdul Qadir Jokhadar has   confirmed that the current crisis came to further complicate the conditions for the growth and development of the national industry, as the aforementioned  occupiers  , in coordination with terrorist groups, destroyed  the infrastructure of the national economy, represented by the industrial sector, which constitutes the backbone of the national economy. This led to the destruction of a large number of small and medium-sized  industrial facilities  in addition to thousands of workers losing their jobs.

” That did not prevent the government from  taking serious steps to return thousands of public and private industrial facilities to the field of production, according to a strategy that is consistent with the available capabilities and determining the priorities of each stage”. Jokhdar added during his interview with “Tishreen” newspaper.

“This matter forced the ministry of industry to adopt a new strategy based on investing  the available capabilities and increasing  the  productivity of industrial facilities  to secure the needs of local market and  public entities with  necessary products and goods”, according to Jokhadar.

As for the field visits that take place from time to time, Jokhadar confirmed that it has adopted a “work strategy” whose goal is to directly see the production and administrative reality.

He added “From this standpoint, we find in field visits to work sites a positive case that has a clear impact in terms of enabling mutual trust between management and productive labor and enhancing the spirit of teamwork that aims to increase production”.

“We are waiting for positive signs of steps taken by the Industry Ministry and affiliated sides  to improve the work mechanism and rehabilitate the production lines to return them to the field of production  that were stopped  years ago due to terrorism.
