Industry Minister, Ambassador of Abkhazia in Damascus discuss ways to enhance industrial cooperation

The minister of Industry Abdul Qadir Jokhdar discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia in Damascus Muhammed Jalalovich Ali ways to enhance and develop the cooperation relations in various fields of industrial sector between the two countries, including pharmaceutical and food industry, specialized exhibitions and traditional heritage crafts.

Minister Jokhdar stressed, during the meeting that took place in the ministry building on Sunday, Syria’s keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with Abkhazia in the industrial fields, through memorandums of understanding, including projects that can be established in joint cooperation, in addition to cooperation in the field of specifications, standards and conformity certificates to facilitate the movement of trade exchange.

For his part, Ambassador Jalalovich pointed to the necessity of working to strengthen and develop economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries, in a way that contributes to achieving common interests and benefits the Syrian and Abkhaz peoples.
