Syria wins 4 medals in Sochi World Championship 2017

Moscow - Syria Junior swim team won four medals in the World Championship 2017 currently held in Russia’s Sochi.

The swimmer, Mohammed Nemer, won a gold medal in 50m butterfly (26.15 sec) and a silver in the 100m butterfly (58.30 sec), while Swimmer Khaled Barakat won a silver medal in 100m freestyle (55.56 sec) and a bronze one in 50m freestyle (25.21 sec).

A Syrian Swimmer Wins Three Medals

DAMASCUS, (ST) - Azad al-Barazi of Syria’s national swimming team won a gold medal in 50m butterfly (28.4 sec), silver in 100m butterfly (1:02:04 min), and bronze in 200m butterfly (2:17:03min) at the international New zealand championship.

This participation of al-Barazi comes as preparation of World Championship at July/2017 in Hungary

Syria wins two gold medals in Muay Thai Arab Championship

Damascus – The Syrian team won a total of 11 medals (2 gold, 2 silver, and 7 bronze) at the Muay Thai Arab Championship held in Beirut, Lebanon.

In the men’s competitions, Al- al-Jaghal (57 kg) won a gold medal, Ahmad Shaker (51 kg) won bronze, Adnan Bardan (71 kg) won bronze, and Yamen Hujaira (91 kg) won bronze.

A Syrian Swimmer wins gold medal

Prague -Bayan Jumah of Syria’s national swimming team won a gold medal in (50m) freestyle at the Grand Prix championship which is held in Czech Republic.

Jumah finished the race at (26.80sec) beating some of the best swimmers in the world.

On Saturday, Jumah won a silver medal in the (100m) freestyle.

Kalziyeh wins 3 gold medals at Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships

Damascus – Ayman Kalziyeh of Syria’s national swimming team won five medals at 53rd Milo/ Pram Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships 2017.

Kalziyeh won three gold medals in (200m, 400m freestyle, 200m butterfly), a silver medal in (100m butterfly) and a bronze in (50m butterfly).
