In the presence of Engineer Arnous and ministers, People’s Assembly begins its first session of 10th  regular session of 3rd legislative term

The first session of the People’s Assembly (PA)of the tenth regular session of the third legislative term began today, headed by Hammouda Sabbagh, Speaker of the PA, and in the presence of Prime Minister Hussein Arnous and the ministers.

The PA Speaker stressed the importance of collective institutional work at all levels, in order to meet the needs of the resilient Syrian people, in accordance with the available potentials, and to modernize laws and legislations that contribute to all-out development, calling on the executive and legislative authorities to spare no efforts in doing their duties based on the directives of President Bashar Al-Assad.

For his part, the Prime Minister talked about the government activities and the plans that were implemented, stressing that Syria’s complicated crises are due to the war against terrorism and its supporters for more than 12 years. he stressed that the terrorist war has massively damaged the national economy.

He briefed the MPs  on the procedures that have been adopted by the government to tackle the situation as the government has taken a series of remedial measures, some of which are of phased features, others are of long-term strategy, and all have development dimension.
