Bassam was martyred when he was fighting terrorist groups.

 “May God have mercy on you and peace be upon your soul” the mother of the martyr said sadly.

 “Really you passed away and left us, but you will not leave our hearts. Our soul misses you so much I hope that you can hear the pulse of our hearts, I hope you can hear their anguish”, she added.
