Colonel Salah was martyred in the city of Homs while performing his national duty in fighting terrorist groups.  Mrs. Rana Fares, the wife of the martyr, said:”Salah wanted to bring up our only son, Hamza, on national principles and on loving the homeland, but death was so fast. He was martyred while defending us and our beloved country. I ask God to help me raise my son on loving the homeland, as his father wanted.
