In The Loving Memory of Our Heroes

The hero martyr, Brigadier-General Akram Taher Jdid, was born on January 1963 in Al-Matn village in the city of Lattakia.

After completing his secondary education he joined the Military College and graduated as an officer in the Syrian Arab Army. The martyr was committed to his work and an honest officer. He was dedicated to his work, homeland and leader.

When the terrorist war was launched against Syria, the martyr hero was in his position, and he did not hesitate to fight with his heroic colleagues in the Syrian Arab Army against terrorists in defense of Syria.

The martyr successfully carried out all military missions entrusted to him with his comrades. Akram was wounded several times.  He was martyred in the last mission when he was charged with defending a point in the Damascus countryside on September 1 in 2013.
