In solidarity with Palestine… the Palestinian flag flies above the municipal council building in the Irish capital

The municipal council in the Irish capital, Dublin, approved raising the Palestinian flag over the council building, for a week, in a symbolic step of solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, as a way of demonstrating rejection of the aggression and the brutal crimes committed by the Israeli entity against them.

Siran Barry, one of the council members, said in statements reported by Irish media: “This step aims to raise our voice, on the necessity of stopping the aggression and mass killing practiced by the Israeli occupation, against civilians in Gaza, adding: “Action must be taken to reach an immediate ceasefire and send humanitarian aid to the Strip”.

Barry called for putting pressure on countries that support the Israeli occupation, those countries that do not care, about the widespread global dissatisfaction with its killing and massacres against the Palestinians.
