In memory of children killed in Gaza, dozens of mothers and their children flooded into a London-based factory involved in arming “Israel”

Dozens British mothers alongside their children flooded into the lobby of the building of the BAE Systems (arms manufacturer) in London to highlight its complicity in Israel’s killing of thousands of Palestinian children.

The British “Morning Star” newspaper said that the mothers and their children released 100 black balloons in memory of children killed in Gaza, called out BAE with chants and songs, and urged the building managers to evict the “murderers” who work alongside them.

The building’s security personnel tried to confront the British women and their children, who in turn responded by shouting slogans: Shame on you, and we will not forget your shame. They also raised Palestinian flags, released black balloons, and beat drums.

“Our government allows BAE to export arms knowing full well they’ll be used to perpetrate a genocide,” said Rees Nicolas, one of the organizers, there with four-month-old Sylvia. “As parents, we couldn’t stand by and let this happen.”

BAE Systems, Europe’s largest arms company, supplies the Israeli occupation forces with key components of fighter jets, munitions, armored vehicles and missile launching kits. Activists say BAE has made as much as £300m selling weapons components to Israel since 2016.
