In light of the continuation of the Turkish occupier’s crime of cutting off water, official and civil efforts in Al-Hasakah continue to secure drinking water for the people
On July 11th , official and civil efforts continue in the Governorate of Al-Hasakah to secure drinking water for the people of the city, in light of the continuing water shortage crisis as a result of the Turkish occupier stopping the operation of the Allouk station.
Member of the Executive Office of the Water Sector, Hassan Al-Shahmoud, stated that the operations of providing drinking water to the people are continuing in light of the measures taken by government agencies in cooperation with a number of international humanitarian organizations, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and charities.
Al-Shahmoud pointed out that the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East joined the efforts made in this field, as it operated several tanks transporting 15,000 liters of water per day.
Al-Shahmoud pointed out that a number of charities have provided special aid in this regard in an attempt to compensate for the shortage of drinking water in the city as a result of the crime committed by the Turkish occupier and its terrorist mercenaries by cutting off the water to the people.
It is noteworthy that the water shortage crisis from the Allouk station, , the only source of drinking water, is entering its thirteenth consecutive day.
