In defense of humanity !

 Syria has been keen on its  relations with its Turkish neighbor as being based on the   principles of good neighborhood, friendship, mutual interests and reciprocity. Thus came the previous before 2011 close relations with Turkey, which unfortunately were disrupted, if not severed, during the ongoing crisis in Syria because of Turkey’s Justice and Development reckless policies and continued support to ISIS and to every terrorism against Syrians.

H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad made it clear, in his Foreign Affairs Magazine, January 26th, 2015,  that  Erdogan  belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood ideology, which is the base of al Qaeda because it was the first political Islamic organization that promoted violent political Islam in the early 20th century. Erdogan belongs strongly and is a staunch believer in these values, he’s very fanatical, and that’s why he still supports ISIS. He is personally responsible for what happened. Yes, Erdogan personally is more to be blamed for the deterioration in relations and is mainly to be blamed for the prolonging of the ongoing crisis in Syria as well as for the spread of al-Qaeda and Wahabi affiliated terrorism  to every part of the world.

Erdogan’s  AK Party will not succeed in its efforts to alienate the people of Turkey from the people of Syria. I mean, once the people of Turkey understand what is really happening in Syria, relations will be stronger than before. And this is exactly the situation with the recent visit of the high level Turkish delegation given the increasing mass protests at Erdogan’s party policies changing his country from a zero-problem neighbor to a zero good neighborhood relation! As H.E. declared in his interview with Turkish Halk TV and Yurt paper October4,2013, we have to differentiate between Turkish rulers and people, particularly Erdoğan, Davutoğlu and those around them. Ties should not deteriorate due to their mistakes.

Accordingly, the leader of Turkey’s Land Party (VP), which was known as the Labor Party (İP), Doğu Perinçek, as reported by  Today’s Zaman,  stated before the visit  that Turkey needs the friendship and brotherhood of Syria,  “Syria’s resistance against a global attack, which supports Turkey’s territorial integrity, is one of the most important matters in recent years. Our visit will boost the cooperation between Middle Eastern countries as well as Turkey’s friendship with Syria, Iraq and Iran.

During a press conference held in Damascus yesterday, Mr.  Perincek stated that  Peace in Syria is the key for international security and the Syrian people and President Bashar Al-Assad have been fighting not merely in defense of Syria but also in defense of humanity in face of terrorism and its funders and sponsors. “We are here and we tell the US and its allies that we will not allow any force to destroy Syria or fragment it, or destroy the republic system of Turkey,” . Hopefully the visit and the declared stances would curb Erdogan’s illusions to control the ongoing and supply his terrorists on the ground with the more of destruction, robbery and slaughter means, at least in respect for related anti-terrorism UN Security Council.
