In an unprecedented achievement, Syrian national team player for billiards, Mohammed Al-Soufi, qualifies for the final of the World Championship

Warsaw (ST): The Syrian national team player for billiards, Mohammad Al-Soufi, qualified for the final of the World Championship currently being held in Poland, after defeating the Chinese Wuqun Lin, 11-6, in the semi-finals, in an unprecedented achievement for Arab players.

Al-Soufi reached the semi-finals after defeating the four-time world champion and fourteen-time European champion, Albin Uschan, by 11-8.

It is noteworthy that Al-Soufi is the winners of the billiard singles gold in the West Asian Combined Billiards and Snooker Championship.
