In a letter to Pezeshkian, King Salman calls for expanding relations between Tehran and Riyadh

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed in a letter to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Saudi Arabia’s desire to continue expanding relations with Iran and to continue coordination and consultation with the aim of promoting regional and international security and peace.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that King Salman’s advisor and Minister of State Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz delivered the letter during President Pezeshkian’s reception of him in the capital, Tehran. The letter included a call to exert more efforts to develop and strengthen bilateral relations.
The Saudi Monarch expressed his wishes for the Iranian government and people for further progress and prosperity.
Prince Mansour and Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Walid Al-Khuraiji participated in the inauguration ceremony of Pezeshkian as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran last Tuesday in Tehran.
