IAEA Confirms its Commitment to Supporting Syria

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirms its commitment to supporting Syria in peaceful fields.

 

The Director General of the agency, Rafael Grossi, stated in a post on the platform “X”: “I held an important meeting with Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani in New York, and I welcome the communication to clarify previous activities in Syria.”

 

Grossi added: “The International Atomic Energy Agency is committed to supporting the country in medicine, agriculture, and other peaceful applications in this new era.”

 

Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani met yesterday with the Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, at the United Nations building in New York.
