Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has asserted that attempts to weaken Russia have not succeeded and Western sanctions against it may bring Europe to its knees.
Russia Today website quoted Orban as saying: “11,000 sanctions have been imposed against Russia so far, but they have not succeeded, and the resulting inflation and lack of energy may cause Europe to kneel on its knees,” pointing out that attempts to weaken the Russians did not succeed.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced earlier today that attempts by Western countries to impose restrictions and sanctions on the Russian energy resources sector led to an increase in Russian resources and profits by about 50 percent.
