Hundreds of Israeli massacres committed against the Palestinians since the Nakba

The massacre that was perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in Jenin camp last Thursday and that led to the martyrdom of 10 Palestinians has been the latest among  hundreds of massacres, but it will not be the last as long as the world merely plays the bystander role watching the Israeli crimes.

The occupation’s attacks and massacres during 1947 and 1948 alone resulted in the martyrdom of 15 thousand Palestinians, the displacement of 950 thousand out of 400,000 and the destruction of 531 Palestinian villages out of 1300 villages and cities.

As a result of the occupation’s crimes, the number of martyrs reached about 100 thousand at the end of the 2022.

Among the most brutal massacres are:

17 massacres in Haifa between 1937 and 1948 killed 772 Palestinians and injured 798 others.

4 massacres in Jaffa during 1947 and 1948, which killed 124 Palestinians and injured dozens.

8 massacres in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) between 1938 and 1948, resulting in more than 120 martyrs and more than 150 injuries.

The massacres of Safad, Sasa’, Husseiniyeh and Ain al-Zaytoun in February, March and May 1948, in which 260 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded.

The massacres in Ramla in March and May, 1948 killed 75 Palestinians and injured others.

Deir Yassin massacre – April 1948, in which 360 Palestinians were killed and hundreds injured.

The massacre of the village of Tantura near Haifa – May 1948, which claimed the lives of 200 Palestinians and injured dozens.

The massacres in Tiberias, Lajoun, Qalunya and Nasser al-Din — April 1948, in which 91 people were killed and others injured.

The Lod massacre – July 1948 killed 426 and injured dozens.

Al-Dawayima massacre in Al-Khalil (Hebron) – October 1948, in which 200 Palestinians were martyred.

The Beersheba and Majdal massacres, October 1948 — killed 98 Palestinians and injured others.

The massacre of al-Bureij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip – August 1953, in which 20 Palestinians were killed and 62 injured.

The Qibya massacre north-west of Ramallah – October 1953, which killed 69 Palestinians and injured dozens.

The Qalqilya massacre – October 1953, in which 70 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured.

The Gaza massacres — February and May 1955 1956 and November 1956, killed 380 Palestinians and injured 103.

The Kafr Qassem massacre – October 1956, in which 49 Palestinians were killed and 31 injured.

The massacre of Sabra and Shatila camps in September 1982 killed more than 3,000 Palestinians and injured hundreds others.

The Ebrahimi Mosque massacre in Al-Khalil-February 1994 killed 60 Palestinians and injured 150.

Al-Aqsa massacre – September 2000 – 13 Palestinians were killed and 475 injured.

The Nablus and Beit Rima massacres in Ramallah, July October 2001, killed 30 and injured dozens.

The Jenin and its camp massacre — April 2002 — killed some 500 Palestinians and injured hundreds.

The massacres of Rafah, Khan Yunis, al-Bureij, Jabaliya camp and al-Daraj neighborhood in the Gaza Strip – in 2002, in which 81 Palestinians were killed and about 450 were injured.

The massacres of the Jabaliya camp, Al-Zaytoun and Al-Shuja’iya neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip – in 2003, killed 65 Palestinians and injured more than 250.

The massacres of Rafah, Al-Bureij, Al-Shuja’iya, Al-Zaytoun and Al-Nuseirat neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip in 2004 led to the death of 191 Palestinians and the wounding of 439.

The massacres of Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip – January 2005 and November 2006, in which 28 Palestinians were killed and 54 injured.

The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip between 27 December 2008 and 18 January 2009, during which 1,436 Palestinians were killed and more than 5,400 injured.

The aggression against the Gaza Strip between 14 and 21 November 2012 killed 180 Palestinians and injured more than 1,300.

The aggression against the Gaza Strip between July 7 and August 26, 2014, in which 2,322 Palestinians were killed and about 11,000 injured.
The aggression against the Gaza Strip on 3rd, 4th and 5th of May, 2019 killed 27 Palestinians and injured 154.

The aggression against the Gaza Strip on 12, 13 and 14 November, 2019 killed 34 Palestinians and injured 100.

The aggression against the Gaza Strip between 10 and 21 May, 2021 killed 257 Palestinians and wounded some 2,000.

The aggression against the Gaza Strip on 5, 6 and 7 August, 2022 killed 49 Palestinians and injured 360.
