Hundreds of Syrians and Palestinians Show Solidarity with al-Quds, Denounce Trump’s Decision

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE- Demonstrations and protests against US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize al-Quds as the capital of the Israeli occupation entity and to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to al-Quds continue.

In Damascus Countryside, hundreds of Syrians and Palestinians took to  the streets on Friday in Jaramana city, Dwail’a and Khan Danoun in Damascus Countryside to show solidarity with al-Quds city and denounce Trump’s decision, according to SANA.

The demonstrators affirmed that al-Quds city will ever remain an Arab city, expressing their full solidarity with the Palestinian people against the US decision, describing it as a “blatant violation of international laws and norms.”

They also called for stopping all forms of normalization and communication with the occupation entity and for boycotting US and Israeli goods.

Mahathir Muhammad: We must stand against Trump and boycott Israeli entity

Meanwhile in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad called U.S. President Donald Trump an “international bully” and a “villain” for his decision to recognize al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Israeli entity.

“ We must use all our power to oppose this villain who is the president of the United States,” Mahathir Mohammad told crowds of protesters in front of the US embassy in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on Friday, adding “ Today, we have an international bully who is Trump and we should oppose him and stand in his face,”

He warned that this step will only stir the anger of Muslims.

The Malaysian official called on all Islamic countries to sever their relations with the Israeli occupation entity.

Last week, Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Razak, urged Muslims worldwide to oppose any recognition of al-Quds as the capital of “Israel”.
