Today, hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed into Al Aqsa Mosque, according to Wafa News Agency.
The agency reported that the settlers stormed into the courtyards of Al Aqsa in successive groups from the direction of the Mugharba Gate and carried out provocative tours in the courtyards and opposite to the Dom of the Rock, under heavy protection by the occupation forces, which intensified their presence in the mosque.
The occupation forces forced the Palestinian worshipers to leave the mosque’s squares, tightened military measures in the Old City of Al Quds (Jerusalem), prevented the Palestinians from reaching the mosque, attacked journalists while they were covering settlers’ incursions and forced them to leave the vicinity of Al-Aqsa.
Large groups of settlers toured through the alleys of the Old City, and carried out provocative tours at the gates of Al-Aqsa, especially at the Silsila and Al-Qattanin gates.
About two thousand settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Al-Quds during the past two days.
