Hundreds of Families Fleeing “Deash” Atrocities Arrive in al-Batma Area in Homs Countryside

HOMS, (ST)- Hundreds of Syrian families fleeing the atrocities of the internationally blacklisted terrorist group ISIS arrived on Friday in al-Batma area in eastern Palmyra of Homs countryside coming from the countryside of Raqqa, Deir Ezzour, Aleppo, Idleb and Homs.

The citizens thanked the Syrian Army and all who helped them reach safe areas and stressed their support for the army until all terrorists in Syria are eliminated.

They recounted the suffering they had experienced in areas where ISIS terrorists exist.

“The terrorist organization force women to wear black clothes and prevent them from getting out of their homes. They lash and behead people and cut limbs of others in front of the locals, particularly children, under pretexts that have nothing to do with Islam or human values,” they clarified.

According to the citizens, there are many mercenary terrorists of different nationalities fighting within the ranks of the takfiri organization. “Those mercenaries appoint themselves as emirs and start terrorizing and suppressing the locals and depriving them from the simplest requirements of living. They also confiscate people’s properties and monopolize food, medicines and fuel and sell them to the locals in very high prices,” they said.

They pointed out that ISIS terrorists deprive children from their right to be educated, recruit them in the terror organization and plant extremist takfiri ideas in their minds.

However, the citizens expressed their determination to stay in the homeland and take part in reconstructing what terrorism has destroyed.
