Hundreds of Displaced Syrians Return from Lebanon

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)- Hundreds of displaced Syrians returned on Thursday from Lebanon through the border crossings of al-Dabbouseya, al-Zemrani and Jdeidet Yabous within the framework of the Syrian government’s s efforts to facilitate the return of the Syrian refugees to their homeland.

Several buses and trucks entered the Syrian territories from Lebanon through the three border crossings with hundreds of displaced Syrian citizens on board in preparation to take them to their towns and villages which have been liberated from terrorists by the Syrian Arab Army, according to SANA.

Medical teams also provided necessary medical services to the returnees at the crossings.

The returnees expressed gratitude to the Syrian army heroes who made their return possible after liberating their areas from terrorists, pointing out that restoring basic services to their towns has encouraged them to return seeking a new normal life. They stressed that many other displaced citizens desperately want to return home.
