DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE– Families, previously displaced because of the terrorism of the Takfiri groups, started returning to Flitta village in Damascus Countryside Province after units of the Syrian Army demined it, SANA reported.
SANA reporter in Western Qalamoun area said that hundreds of families came back on Thursday to their houses in Flitta village after the engineering units of Army demined and dismantled the explosives planted by terrorists in the houses, adding that Damascus Countryside governorate also worked on restoring the basic services to village.
In August, the Syrian Army, in cooperation with the supporting forces, established control over the Western Qalamoun area completely after eliminating the last terrorist gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS there.
